Desktop Organizers, Round Two!

School is nine days away. Nine whole days. With the start of school, my desktop icons are amazingly hectic.
Going back and forth from school, this is NOT how I want this to be. If I need to find something, I want it to be right there where I can see it. Organized and ready to go. If I leave my laptop at home and forget something, I want whoever is home to be able to find it and email me what I need. With an unorganized desktop, there is no way I can do that. So, today, I did some laptop cleaning.
Remember a LONG time ago when I brought up my desktop organizers
Remember these cuties?
They are the best way I know to make sure everything is where it's easy to find.
I created some more for you to use. Let me know what you think!
\
I love the pink and blue combination in this. I couldn't help myself.
Thank you Lilly for your beautiful new print in my favorite pattern!
Vera, Sun Valley is seriously a print that I can not do without.
I love polka dots. Pink and polka dots? Perfect.
Do you have any other ideas for desktop organization?

"Well sure, for a dollar!"

I had a seriously long over-due trip to Target last week, I was going through some SERIOUS withdrawal.
During that wonderful visit, I found some of the best little treasures, treasures that only I,
or someone with a similar taste, would love.

This, is what I picked up:
Two four packs of pens for $2.
Each had a different pattern and color, so I had to have two sets.

Two four packs of pencils for $2.
Same deal, sorry not sorry.

Two magazine/file folders for $2.
I could not choose for the life of me between chevron and floral burst so I had to have both.

Thank-You Notes for $1.
Blank Note Cards for $1.
Seriously, guys, NEVER underestimate the power of a handwritten formal note.
Once, a girl I barely knew wrote a thank you note to me for letting her have my A.P. English books.
I will NEVER forget it. I saved it.

Mini Kleenex Tissues in pretty patterns for 95 cents!
There were three, in bright colors. Like I couldn't own them!

A pack of paper clips, folder clips, and thumb tacks in pastel colors for $1.

A lovely little $10 spent on organization and office supplies.
Cute ones, to boot!
Diana WINS.
On second thought, should have bought more. LOSS.
Guess I have to make another trip!
Oh, Darn.

How to: Easily find the nail polish colors you want!

Not even one day after making my nail polish storage box, I found out there was a problem.
A BIG ONE.
If my box gets all stuffed full of nail polish, I am not going to want to try to root around and look for it.
I needed a way to organize my nail polishes and tell them apart.
The easiest way I knew, was to paint the tops.
Not to full out paint the tops but put a little circular dab in the center.
Just enough to show what the color was!
The Result:
The easiest organizational tool that I could have thought of for nail polish.
(Aside from separate drawers according to color, but that would defeat the purpose of my box!)
All that I had to do was get a paintbrush, a paper towel, and my polish.
I simply took the cap off, stuck the end of the paintbrush in the polish, and dabbed it right on the cap!
Then, I sorted my polish in rainbow order!
(The most fun task!)
Placed them all in the box and stuck the lid on, easy as pie!
How do you store all of your polishes and how easy is it to find the colors you want?
