My Etsy Loves!

First, I would like to say, that I have another obsession.
Etsy is completely addicting.
I have made a lovely little wishlist and would love to share it with you!

I would also love to shout-out the cutest Etsy shop I have seen so far.
This lovely Etsy owner never fails to contact me and reply to all of my posts.
Thank you, Aubrey Gianna, for being fantastic.
Here are a few of my favorites from the shop:
Stay tuned for a lovely item that's going to be made for me!
2015 can't come soon enough!

He's my DIY-ing Honeybee

When the fiance gets a creative streak, let him run with it.
While walking through Wal-Mart the other day, he decided that he wanted to make something.
Be my guest, honey, be my guest.
I can say that two times over, actually, since we found a wood burner for only $10.
I'm gonna be a nerd here: Bazinga.
So we got a block of wood, the wood burner, and he went to work.
The theme to the living room is rustic, so it was only fitting we do something to match.
It also helps that our song is such a country song: Honeybee, Blake Shelton. LOVE.
Before the wood stain!
P.S. Don't mind his "Dirty" hands, he's a welder.

& After!

Home/Life Organizer!

Can I just tell you, that I am one of those people who likes things her way?
Who knew, right?
When it comes to planners, it is a hundred times worse. I need certain things that normal planners just don't have. Like color, cuteness, space, and some serious over-organizing materials.
When I was going through my favorite blogger's sites, I found printables.
Then it occurred to me,
WHY, OH WHY, am I spending money on planners I am just not overly happy with? Why do I spend every single year searching for some so-so, I'll buy it if I can't find anything cuter, organizer for my life?
No more.
No more settling, no more ugly, no more wasted time.
Meet, lovely 2013... & very likely, the rest of my life.
Seriously, pretty cover!

Pretty inspiration!
All I needed were pens, note pads, page protectors, and a beautiful binder.
I got some wonderful printables from
Iheartorganizing & Atypicalenglishhome
(Don't worry, I liked you to them at the bottom!)

A peek inside!

ALWAYS
give credit where credit is due!
Thanks for having free printables!
&
Thanks for having printable recipe cards!

Thirty-One Choices... literally.

A friend of mine just recently became a Thirty-One Consultant and since she signed up, we've been thinking of so many organizing projects we could do to sort her new stuff.
Yesterday, we legitimately walked around Wal-Mart for at least an hour and a half trying to figure out how we were going to display her swatches, note cards, and stationary.
We thought of binders and plastic page protectors with separate slots for each swatch, we thought of making a scrapbook out of them, and we even searched around in the container section to see what we could find there. Nothing seemed good enough. After going through countless ideas, countless aisles, and putting a TON of stuff where it definitely didn't belong, then, found a box.
I know, a box doesn't sound like an Earth-shattering discovery, but, it definitely was.
This, is where the organization just took off.

I grabbed the box, some card stock, some tabs, and some double-stick tape.
Who knew that a huge bundle of swatches and other items could end up so pretty and organized!
The result:

How did we get to that?
Grabbed the swatches, grabbed the card stock, scissors, and the paper cutter.
Cut the circular buttons out and trimmed the sides then cut the card stock in half.
This is what we ended up with after cutting out the circles:
A ring of baby swatches, or in my language, a future craft for her parties!

We stuck the swatches with double sided tape to the card stock and put a tab on the tops based by collection: These are the Woodblock Floral and a bit of the Party Punch Collections.
We filed those in and put in these stickers and stationary,
& we ended up with this!

For the future, behind the swatches, wait the leftovers and some more items,
ready for us to make party decorations!
CAN NOT WAIT!

(P)inspiration Boards!

Hello, loves!
On Wednesdays I have a seriously long break in between my classes, long enough to blog something up and share it with you! Ok, maybe it's a little more simple than that in this case!
Today, I decided to explore some pinterest and gather some pics together to make up some inspiration boards based on different themes of weddings. Honestly, it was harder than you'd think!
Either way, four lovely themes came to my mind first when I decided to make boards:

Beach:

Rustic:

 Vintage:

& Princess:

At one point I was considering combining Vintage and Princess because they are so similar, however it's easier to view them apart because of some distinct decorative differences.

If you would like to see any other themes than the ones I have made, feel free to request them!
